Automation and Maintenance Department
The Maintenance Department was established since the beginning of the establishment
of JoPetrol Company, for the purposes of establishing and supporting stations and
ensuring continuity of service without interruption
In order to keep pace with development and exchange experiences, the Maintenance
Department and the Automation Department have been merged to include all the works
and requirements of the stations from the beginning of establishment to operation and
continuous technical support after operation, to include:
Mechanical extensions, including discharge, identities, networks and their accessories
Electrical extensions, including control panels “generators, pumps, evacuators and related accessories.”
Tank meters and meter operator, under the supervision of the Jordan Standards and
Metrology Organization
Electronics Operator and overalls of pumps and motors, rehabilitation of spare parts
and systems
Control systems, including sales, inventory, tanks, safety, solar energy and electricity chargers
Developing of control systems, including development, modernization and linking
to other systems with the aim of automating the entire system from sales to the
financial system and continuous updating to keep pace with everything new in the
field of gas stations.
Maintenance and Automation Department adhere to the laws and instructions regulating
the operations of the stations and the systems in which they operate, and this is done
through a qualified technical staff and some of these systems:
Instructions of the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission
Instructions of the Energy and Minerals Regulatory Commission
Instructions of the Jordan Standards and Metrology Organization
Instructions of the Control, Public Safety and Occupational Health Department
Instructions from the Information Technology Department regarding
communication networks, hosting systems, databases, and linking to other systems
