Signing of an Agreement to Supply Gas from the Al-Risha Field to the National Power System and Enhance Local Energy

Under the patronage of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Saleh Al-Kharabsheh, an agreement was signed on Tuesday for the sale and supply of natural gas produced from the Al-Risha Gas Field to the Kingdom’s national power system. The agreement was concluded between the National Petroleum Company, the Jordanian Logistics Company for Petroleum Facilities, the National Electric Power Company, Jordan LNG Company, Samra Electric Power Generation Company, and the National Advanced Company for Natural Gas.

Signing of an Agreement to Supply Gas from the Al-Risha Field to the National Power System and Enhance Local Energy
