Radio-Frequency Identification System (Jo Guard)

The Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) system, known as Jo Guard, aims to monitor and regulate fuel consumption for vehicles. This system allows companies to track fuel usage on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, including the type of fuel being used, such as diesel or gasoline. JoGuard operates as a payment method at all Jopetrol stations and provides control to adjust the quantities used daily based on the specified programming. The vehicle's identity is established when refueling through electronic linking between the pump and the vehicle. An electronic tag is placed on the vehicle and another on the pump to identify the vehicle and dispense fuel according to the predetermined programming.
